GENERAL

Important Information

Hydro Attack is a brand of Watersports Limited which is a New Zealand owned and registered company.
The safety of our passengers and their property is important to us and by purchasing a shark ride or spectator spot with Hydro Attack and boarding our vessels.
Passengers agree that they are carried at their own risk and Watersports Ltd will not be liable in any way for any injury incurred as a result of being carried.
Passengers should be aware that in New Zealand any claims for personal injury are limited by a government scheme and passengers should obtain their own insurance should they wish to do so.
Please advise a member of our staff if you have a physical condition that may affect the enjoyment of the ride with us or your safety.
We suggest that passengers do not take any personal property or equipment in the sharks, however, if passengers choose to do so then this property or equipment is carried at the PASSENGER’S OWN RISK, and Watersports Ltd will not be liable in any way for any loss to such property or equipment however caused.
For the safety and comfort of all passengers, all instructions given by the pilot must be followed and parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their children do the same.

Rates

A full refund will be given with at least 24 hours' notice before your booking, subject to where the original booking was made (If you book through a third-party booking agent, their terms and conditions will also apply).
No refunds will be given within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time or if you fail to show up for your booked activity at the correct check-in time.
Weather cancellations we make will be rescheduled or refunded in full.
Trips are weather–dependent. Hydro Attack’s operation can be affected by high swell on the lake, heavy rain, or stormy conditions. Hydro Attack reserves the right to modify trip times and cancel trips at our sole discretion. A full refund can be given for trips cancelled by weather when Hydro Attack verifies the cancellation.
Our ‘Boat Trip and Shark Ride’ product requires a minimum number to operate. If the trip is cancelled due to minimum numbers, customers will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Hydro Attack Gift Cards are valid for 1 year after the date of purchase. Extension of validity beyond the gift card expiry date is at Hydro Attack’s sole discretion.
Refunds will go back to the original form of payment in NZD, and Watersports Ltd is not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations.

The minimum age to ride in the shark is 6 years old.
Rides in the shark are subject to a weight restriction of 110kg (242 pounds/17 stone) and a height restriction of 192cm (6ft 3′).
Watersports LTD reserves the right to cancel any trip if the passenger's safety is at risk due to the customer exceeding the weight or height restrictions. Please call the Hydro Attack team if you have any questions regarding this.
